What type of truck and equipment should I expect from Movex?

Movex provides a variety of equipment to meet your needs. You can order any size compartment from 6 to 53 feet and we will send a truck with plenty of space to move your items.

How does Movex compare with other self-service moving companies?

Are there other costs in addition to the quoted price by Movex?

Your price is guaranteed and includes everything. This includes fuel, tolls, taxes and insurance.

Do you provide insurance?

Yes. Movex provides catastrophic coverage for every move. Here are the rates:

$5,000 Catastrophic Coverage Included

$15,000 Catastrophic Coverage $90.00

$25,000 Catastrophic Coverage $180.00

When is the best time to move?

Movex offers tremendous flexibility with your pickup. You schedule your move on the date YOU CHOOSE, including weekends when it is easier to find loading help. Your quoted price will stay the same even if you need a weekend or end-of-the-month pickup.

How long does it take to move?

This depends on many factors, including the time of year, weather conditions, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment is traveling. With the help of a centralized dispatching system, pickup and delivery dates are scheduled according to your needs.

Can Movex move my belongings to...?

Movex can move your household items between any two states in the Continental United States. Movex does not provide local moves, international moves or moves within the same state.

When should I call Movex to schedule my move?

It is best to schedule your move as early as possible. Most moves are scheduled approximately 4 weeks from the move date. However, Movex can often accommodate moves on short notice.

How much will my move cost?

Basic charges depend on the amount of space used and the distance your shipment travels. You only incur additional charges if you use more space than originally contracted or if you decide to purchase additional hazard insurance above the $5,000 Movex has included.

How do I pay for my move?

Movex accepts Visa ™, Master Card ™ and Discover ™, or you can pay by certified check or money order.

Does Movex provide packing materials?

Boxes and paper are not included in your moving cost but can be purchased here.

How much time do I have to load and unload?

The amount of time allowed for loading and unloading depends on the amount of space you order. The more space you need, the more time we allow.

Does Movex ship or tow cars?

Yes. If you're interested in shipping a car, ask your Movex move coordinator for rates. Cars are placed with your belongings in the same trailer as your household goods.

Can Movex provide services for a large household move?

Movex can provide service for any size move - whether it's a single room or 20 rooms. You will find Movex the ideal provider for full truck moves.

Can Movex provide loading and unloading services?

Movex does not directly provide loading or unloading services, but we can suggest packing and loading services through quality local movers in your area. Ask your Movex move coordinator for more information.
